Two shots here taken on the same rooftop. The installers who put these aerials up apparently couldn't be bothered to go back down to the van and cut a custom length lashing wire. Instead they have just looped the wire diagonally up and around the chimney pots then back to the bracket. Aside from the fact that this imposes an upwards/diagonal force on the brickwork, the pots are only held in by the haunching and could easily come loose or break. Sadly this kind of lazyness is all too common, especially on rooftops like these which cannot be seen from street level.
